A Salute to KITEC

The Hong Kong Society of Wargamers celebrated its final meeting at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre, KITEC, with a bumper turn out of around 50 members contesting over a dozen different games around the room.  KITEC closes next month, after being the home for the Society for quite a number of years.

The range of games was huge, though with a large contingent of Warhammer Old World devotees running a competition around six tables.   Alongside them, Ancient Greek and Roman galleys clashed, Dystopian Wars were fought, Ming Chinese duked it out with their Northern enemies, Blood Red Skies saw Japanese Zeros taking on Godzilla, Portuguese fought for their freedom from Spain in the Battle of Axeimial and boardgames of Imperial Struggle to Age of Renaissance filled out the bill.  A grand send off to a venue that has served the society well.
